hire his boss to knock him off and you run the company

From your choices: 1) you die 2) live hungry and homeless and die 3) have a better life but become a victim of a hate crime because the people do not like a lot of immigrants stealing their jobs. So they kill you. Here's an option. Live with the job you have and be thankful you even have a job and hope for the best. Maybe the owner gets taken out by his mafia buddies and someone better replaces him. Hmmm. If you witness the crime then you die. So call in sick that day. Anyway, appreciate what you have it could always be worse. Continue to look for a new job though.

come to the USA, seeking political ayslum. We will welcome you with open arms, allow you to join our military, ship you off to Iraq, where you can murder innocent civilians.

Now that Bulgaria is an EU member, are there labour laws that require all EU member states to act, follow or implement? Or any law that protects the worker's rights? Your choice # 1 is too dangerous, your life could be in danger. So, forget about it. Your choice # 2 is better. Although you mentioned that it is hard to find a job. Try your best to look for one that for sure you will be treated right. It might take sometime to find one but ultimately you could find one good company. Important thing is that you must be able to endure the hardship now and focus on finding a better job. Don't leave your work until you find one. Your Choice#3 can also be seriously considered. Since EU citizens can work any place within the EU countries. If you are single, without a family, maybe you can use that money to travel to other neighboring EU member countries and find out if there are better opportunities. Pick a place where they understand your language or English. It's all about determination. I don't like employee being exploited. That is not right. You have your freedom to do what is best for you. But you must always think twice before taking any action. I still prefer your Choice # 2. Be patient though it might take a little bit longer. Good luck!
