Can 4 wild animals live in same enclosure at a zoo

Can 4 wild animals live in same enclosure at a zoo?
Hi, i'm from Bulgaria. A local zoo is under construction and space is very limited. One of the management official says that tiger, lion, grizzly bear and gorilla maybe kept in the same enclosure, because they are all well trained and raised in captivity since birth. However, if you keep tiger, lion, bear and gorilla in the same enclosure, aren't they going to fight with each other? Or would they get along with each other peacefully since they don't have to hunt for food? And if a fight is to occur among the 4 creatures, would the fight result in a fatility of one of the 4 creatures? these are not wild animals, they are very gentle and easygoing.

No wild animal is easy going. Especially if you put it in an exhibit with those choices. I do not recommend it at all. Those animals would not get along well. If they do, it will make front page news.

I dont care how "easy going" any of the animals are. They still have their natural born instincts and when those kick in, there is going to be a fatality. They shouldnt even open the zoo or store that amount of animals if there isnt enough room. People need to start protesting NOW..for the sake of these poor creatures.

these are animals of the wild (although not wild animals) and would get along find without hunting for their food. if a fight did occur it would not be a fatility since they are able to defent their selfs.

Many animals can be kept together, but NOT those! In nature lions and tigers would be competitors thus enemies, so would bears. A gorilla would be food. Even if the other animals are fed there would still be major fights and yes there very well could be a fatality. I am sure there would be injuries. Many herbivores can be caged together provided the enclosures are large enough and if chosen well it often actually reduces stress. This is because in the wild members of different species will often come together (in a very loose sense) for a short time feeding etc. to take advantage of the others senses. An example are deer and turkey. Deer have excellant hearing and smell. Turkey have a poor sense of smell but can see almost 360 degrees since their eyes are on the side of their head, and see VERY well at that. The two are often seen feeding together in fields.

I can't believe that man wasn't pulling your leg. If not, maybe he meant with things like moats between them. There is no way that arrangement could last for long without major fighting no matter how tame they are.

Absolutely not.. No way that would work and I would bet the gorilla would loose the fight.. You have mentioned 2 endangered species.. I can't for the life of me figure out why any one would suggest a thing.. If the zoo cannot provide sufficient housing, I would suggest transferring the animals out to one that can.
