I am 14 years old and live in the midwest. I started running thus summer cause I want to be toned, bu since winter has kicked in my trails are all icy now. What are some tips to start out snowshoeing for excercise? What are good brands to buy? How do I know which ones are right for me? And I don't want to spend too much money.... I also want stylish ones.

Tubbs makes some snowshoes designed specifically for running. They are a bit shorter than regular snowshoes and have a flexible tail. They are intended to be used on trails with packed snow and don't work that well in fresh, deep snow. I believe Atlas also makes a similar model as well. Check their websites for specifics.
