What is it like to live in Bulgaria?
Is Bulgaria a great place to live? If so why,if not why not? Is it a poor or rich country? Would buying a house be cheap ( about a 3 bedroom one)? What are some good stores there,do they sell the same foods and food brands as stores in america?

Bulgaria is beutifull country,one of the best foods in Europe.The stores are like everywheare - from cheap to most expenseves butics.The people are usualy friendly and smaily.The capital city-Sofia is clean with Europian view center,nice arhitecture,big churches. The houses vary - 3 bedroom in big town can be from $30,000.00 to $100,000.00. In North Bulgaria you can find the same for $7-8,000.00 but is hard to find job.If you have $1000.00 monthly income,you can live easy and happy!!!Restorants (average) are nice and offer good food.$10 for dinner for 2! And on 01/01/2007 Bulgaria goes to the Europian Union.That make sense.

Yeah, I can tell that Bulgaria is a nice place to live. The nature there is really beautiful. In the winter you can go to the ski resorts which are very well equipped and have snow during the whole winter. In the summer you can go to the seaside, which is also really, really nice. People there are friendly and hospitable. Food is delicious. There are many traditional dishes that certainly deserve to be tried ;) Hmm...about the stores . . . in the capital city - Sofia you can find many world brands. There are also such shops in the bigger cities but not so much in the small ones. Food brands are the same, there are also the same fast food chains - McDonald's, KFC, Dunkin' Donuts and so on. If you want to buy a house there, well it depends. . . if you buy it somewhere in the country it's pretty cheep. If you want to buy it in a bigger city it is more expensive, but still nothing so impossible to afford. Well, I guess that's all, hope I've been helpful and good luck if you have decided to buy a house in Bulgaria and move there ;)
